Keeping Christ In Christmas

It's Christmas
not x-mas
not holliday
Its Merry Christmas
If you don't like it don't cellebrate it.
It's my Jesus's Birthday
It's not about gifts or santa
It's not a day to get drunk and act like idiots,
It is a day to cellebrate the birth of our saviour

You know,  I do a lot of browsing the web and I just am sick of people misinterpreting the beliefs of myself and my other fundamental baptist brothers and sisters.  I have to say that there are a lot of people who believe, that we believe that you cannot be saved if you don't act a certain way, dress a certain way, and live a certain way.  I do however believe that once you are saved( this is the key) that you no longer will want to live a sinful and corrupt life, God changes people when he saves them from their sins(he does not save you in your sins).  Accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your saviour will change your attitude towards people of faith if you despise us you must reevaluate your salvation, look in the mirror what do you see.  If you see the same kind of person that is in the world then think about your soul is it really the home of Jesus or self.  Do not hesitate if you realise that your are not saved or that you are out of the will of God do something about it.  Stand for what God is about
not what man wants of you.
God Bless each and everyone of you..Ray

My Faith

Let me just say I am a Fundamental Bible Believing Baptist and all that means is that I as a Christian, believe everything that is in the Bible, and try to practice it.  The sad thing is is that every time someone hears the word fundamental they think of hate filled people, because the word fundamentalist has been associated with churches and people who are full of hate, such as westboro the ones who protested about gays at our American soldiers funerals. It is a shame that such people coop our great faith and give Fundamental Baptists a bad name. Fundamentalist are if we are what we believe God wants us to be is meek and tenderhearted we are to love everyone. We are to hate their sin, but not turn them away from us, but to try and show them through our walk what they should do and what God expects of us is to help bring them unto him.  Our love for the ungodly people of this world should be visible to all who come in contact with us. If it is not then we must as Christian men and woman look upon ourselves and see where we can improve upon our wittiness towards others.

Family in Trouble

Well I found out the other day that some friends, well family of my wife and I, are going through some rough times with their marriage, and that's kinda putting it lightly. I was never told that marriage was an easy thing, my wife an I have have our ups and downs as well as everyone else has, but you have to work hard to keep it all together, believe me the work is worth the results our life has been great together and gets better every day that goes by we have made a concerted effort to keep our marriage strong, and God has played a large part in keeping our marriage together. The situation our friends find themselves in(while I wont go into details) is extremely unfortunate. The family has made great strides towards getting their life on the right path and then a huge stumbling block gets in their way, adultery has reared it's ugly head once again and may have ruined two peoples lives together I hurt for them deeply. Satin has his way of stopping you when you try to do whats right, there are trials in our path every day, but we must be able to resist the temptations of this world. You look around and see all the things of the world and thing how great they are, but realize this it only lasts for a season, what God can give you lasts for eternity, a life of sin gets you eternal damnation, that rarely deters people anymore, because they have no fear of God which is a huge miscalculation on their part. I have no idea how someone can hurt another person in this way I have no desire to break my wedding vows and can not fathom why someone would forsake their spouse an bring someone else into their lives. That is why adultery is the only reason given in the bible that legitimizes divorce because it is so devastating to a family and to a couples relationship. Many times there is no way to recover from this misstep and families fall apart, I hope and pray that these people what ever their decision is no matter whether they stay together or not that they continue to try and get their lives right with the Lord and that they might find it in their hearts to forgive each other, not necessarily to stay together, but to at least get along well enough for the kids to not be caught in the middle of a continual fight between Mom and Dad. Times will be tough no matter what your decisions will be, so look to God to help you get through it He is always their for you no matter what you may have done he is there ready to forgive you or help you through the pain of betrayal. May God Bless and Keep you in these times of trouble.

State of our Nation

I Just wanted to say that We thank each and every soldier that has ever fought for this country.
I know that the sacrifices they made were not for nothing. I am appreciative that I live in
these United States with all its flaws it is still the greatest country in the world. We must be
careful though our country has moved way to far away from God and this will eventually be our downfall if we don't remember who our country was founded on, and the core beliefs and values(which are not taught today) are being torn apart and replaced with a hatred of God and
all things good, you can turn on your TV and see it every minute of the day, or
just go to work and hear your coworkers. God has been replaced by alcohol,
drugs, sex, and just plain perversion. The world we live in is nothing
like what I grew up in and it never will be again and for that I am greatly
saddened. As for me and my family I will continue to teach the values that
our forefathers built this country on, and as for my home God will always
have a place. I hope he does in yours as well. May God bless and Keep you.

First Posting

I want to start this blog by just telling everyone a little about me.  I am from Texas 33 yrs old born and raised in a small town half way between Abilene and fort worth called Strawn.  One of the greatest little towns in America.  Unfortunately in order to make a living I had to leave this wonderful town and move to the city.  Where I work as a Railroad engineer, but were not
 going to
waste a lot of time talking about that.
